Zardy is a travel case. It is designed to slow how quickly the temperature inside changes. It does not actively refrigerate, and it is not a regulated medical device.

It is intended to help during the hours between one fridge and the next — not to replace proper refrigerated storage.

Where we say the case holds its temperature for up to 9 hours at an ambient 86°F, that figure comes from our own testing under those conditions.

Real trips are not test conditions. Hotter surroundings, direct sun, opening the case frequently, or starting with packs that were not fully chilled will all shorten it. This is exactly why the case has a display — check it rather than assuming.

You are responsible for checking that the temperature inside the case suits what you are carrying, and for acting on what the display tells you.

If you have any doubt about whether a medication is still safe to use, speak to a pharmacist or your prescriber.

Rules for carrying medication and cool packs vary by country and by airline. Check with your airline and the relevant security authority before you travel, and carry any pharmacy labelling or documentation you may need.
